Jean and I celebrated our 50th on  August 17, 2007. We wanted to commemorate the occasion with a daylily  and we chose this polychrome of tropical colors like the sunset of our lives. A lush, full figured blossom with complicated subtle layering of peach, pink and citrus colors. Heavy ruffling creates unusual twists and turns into the lime green throat.
